This is a fine hunting horn carved with raised panels and a stopper made from the tip of the horn into a fist. On the outer side of the horn is a nicely engraved verse;<\/p>\n

\u201cArouse jolly Bacchus the horn to embrace
\nIt will cheer up the spirits to follow the chase
\nIt will brace up the nerves the game to pursue
\nAnd cause the bold huntsman to sound the halloo\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The base plug of the horn has a brass drawer pull and old red felt covering – All original no breaks, or chips. Large size, approx. 18″.<\/p>\n
