This piece being exhibited here, is beautifully made with an American walnut stock and all American made brass fittings, with a round, unmarked, 42″ barrel. The trigger guard and side plate are copied after the British 2nd model Brown Bess and the brass ramrod ferrules are all American made.\u00a0 The unmarked lock is original flint and inside the lock are the initials, T S. It has the original steel ramrod as well as the original bayonet. This piece was thoroughly examined by George Neumann at the Connecticut Gun Show in 2006. His comment on this piece was that it was in a ” class all it’s own…a real gem and all American \u00a0 made. It is in excellent condition.<\/p>\n
