The neck is recessed, bordered with a saw tooth design and boldly signed just beneath &#8221; Samuel Welsh\u00a0 1807 &#8220;. The rest of the body of the horn is plain. The original stopper is still present and a remnant of the leather strap is till around the neck as well at the butt end in two holes.
