This is a nice blade in full polish, mounted in WWII Shin-Gunto mounts. Attached on the top of the Tsuka are brown and blue tassels, signifying that the sword was carried by an Army Company grade officer ( Captain ). The blade has a gold foiled habaki and is signed, Katana mei; Hizen no Kuni Junin Tadayoshi Saku. The mounts are very clean and bright with an olive green saya. The blade is 24 & 7\/16 inches along the cutting edge. Listed in Hawley’s as TAD286 with a 100 point rating. \u00a0More information about Tadayoshi and the school are exhibited here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
